What’s included in the cost?
The cost of the retreat will be approximately $250. We are finalizing lodging/dining costs with the venue which is why we are being vague. Cost will be determined by June 9. The cost will include lodging, food, and special treats. Transportation is not included, but there will be a carpool sign up with your class.
What do we do?
There are a variety of activities to allow each mom to choose her own adventure - from yoga, hiking, chatting over coffee, crafts, games, and more. You will also have the opportunity to let your creative and competitive spirit shine!
When will I know if I have a spot?
You will be notified of your status by email starting Monday, June 9
Is there a waiting list?
Yes. You never know what will happen by September. We will keep an active waiting list.
Can I come late or leave early?
The expectation is that you will be attending the retreat from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. There are various activities that the committee has planned for each day. If you currently have arrangements that conflict, this might not be the year for you. However, life happens. Get in touch with the retreat chairs or class coordinators if any significant issues arise over next few months.
Who’s running this thing?
The Class of 2028 is your host for the weekend. Retreat chairs are Sarah Frey, Leslie Myers, and Jenni Skaggs. They can be reached at xcpmomsretreat@gmail.com.
Is there a refund policy?
No. This event is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
How many moms?
We are estimating around 30 per class – dependent on accommodations.
Can I volunteer?
So glad you asked. Yes! There are many opportunities and you will hear directly from your class coordinator.
What’s the camp like?
Remember summer camp? It’s like that - shared bunks and bathrooms, communal dining, and fireside chats!
