Dear Xavier Moms,
On behalf of the Xavier Mothers’ Guild Executive Board, welcome to Xavier! To returning Xavier moms, welcome back!
The Xavier Mothers’ Guild is an all-inclusive, volunteer-run organization. Our purpose is to help enrich your relationship with your daughter, provide you with opportunities to meet and socialize with other Xavier moms and to provide you with volunteer opportunities that support Xavier.
The Mothers’ Guild organizes many mother/daughter activities throughout the year. We also host monthly meetings on campus where the Dean will keep you updated on student activities and you can hear speakers talk about subjects that are relevant to you and your daughter. We host monthly, mom-only social activities, both during the day and in the evenings to provide you with opportunities to socialize with other Xavier moms. We also will have two big fund-raising events during the year: The 2016 Annual Holiday Dinner and Auction in the fall, benefiting The Legacy of Leadership Capital Campaign and the Xavier Scholarship Fashion Show in the spring. Last year, we raised more than $500,000 between the two events.
We invite and encourage you to get involved, in any way you can. Without you, we cannot do anything. With you, we can do everything!
Make sure you come back and check our website often to learn about the latest news and our calendar for upcoming meetings and events.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
